POSITION SUMMARY: The Social Media Analyst plays a key role in the Company’s digital marketing team and is focused on driving brand awareness, brand loyalty, engagement and growth through our social media channels. The Social Media Analyst is responsible for managing and growing all corporate social channels and effectively communicating the value of the brand to customers through engagement efforts and campaigns across these channels. This position develops the voice for the Company’s social media presence, ensuring that all content is on-brand, meets Company standards, and is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone across all of Republic Services’ social media platforms.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and leads implementation of Republic`s social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Executes on the day to day activities of all social media, including planning, monitoring, creating content, and posting on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
  • Posts on social channels using well-crafted, creative messaging that consistently and expertly captures the Republic voice in all communications, interactions, and content via social channels.
  • Collaborates with the Communications and Brand teams on social campaigns.
  • Manages and monitors the Online Reputation Management program, creating monthly reviews reporting, holding regular touch base meetings, and collaborating closely with the reputation management team on the program’s health
  • Works closely with Customer Experience to escalate negative customer engagement and manages brand reputation via social channels.
  • Creates, publishes, and manages relevant, high-quality content with a focus on SEO.
  • Partners with Email and Digital Marketing Analysts to develop a comprehensive approach to Social execution and to create synergy across all digital channels.
  • Develops and maintains the social media content calendar and roadmap in collaboration with other departments.
  • Develops and executes creative social campaigns to drive engagement, increase audience size, and amplify brand and campaign reach.
  • Collaborates and guides our advertising agency on the execution of paid social campaigns.
  • Develops standards, systems, and processes for content creation, distribution, maintenance, retrieval, and repurposing.
  • Performs research on social trends and audience preferences and develop benchmarks.
  • Makes ongoing recommendations to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Leverages consumer and professional insights to identify strategic opportunities for business growth and drive business results.
  • Provides recommendations, in collaboration with project leaders, for telling a compelling story across multiple platforms tailored to meet objectives of each channel (customers, employees, media, etc.).
  • Develops processes to gather and disseminate news, stories and other relative content from the field to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of information on a variety of communication platforms.
  • Sets specific objectives and analyzes, reviews, and reports on effectiveness of social media tactics and campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Supports SEO through keyword prioritization within social media content.
  • Stays current on digital media and social media trends and identifies opportunities for expansion.
  • Inspires others to raise their own performance to a higher level.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous work experience in a Social Media role.
  • Experience working with a professional social media platform with focused experience for a brand, agency, or corporation.
  • Experience with data reporting and quantitative analysis.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with annuity based revenue products and services.
  • Experience writing copy and developing content for social media.
  • Knowledge of SEO and experience with keyword research.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor`s degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Digital Marketing.
