Our Crop Insurance Division provides the tools producers need in the form of specialized crop insurance coverages, which can insure their revenue stream even if elements outside their control go awry. That means even in the face of a worst-case scenario producers will have the guaranteed income they need to keep their operation functioning properly.

We are looking for a Business Project Analyst for our Cincinnati office and we are also open to a remote employee.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Participates in planning and coordinating projects in partnership with the Crop Management team.
  • Prepares and maintains project plans, budgets and invoice allocations.
  • Assists in coordinating marketing efforts within the division. This includes working with Corporate Communications and/or outside vendors as appropriate.
  • Maintains and updates division website (GreatAmericanCrop.com) as well as the employee portal.
  • Design social media and website content
    • Serves as the point of contact for all Social Media efforts within the division.
  • Assist with enhancements to and training of CRM
  • Facilitates communication with project staff, stake holders and key resources.
  • Develop and deliver trainings to business developers
  • Coordinate trade show materials
  • Creates and maintains agent database.
  • Builds and maintains strong divisional and intra-company relationships as well as an understanding of the business / functional unit and organization.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well those of the organization.
  • Provides general administrative support to project staff. Tasks may include:
    • Prepares routine to moderately complex correspondence, memoranda, agendas, status reports, summaries, request for proposal (RFP’s) etc.
    • Prepares charts, graphs, presentations and / or tables of a moderately complex nature.
    • Collects, compiles and analyzes moderately complex information to be included in reports and presentations.
  • Lead Development of Quarterly newsletter to be distributed
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Agriculture or Business is preferred.
  • Crop insurance experience strongly preferred
  • 2 to 4 years of marketing or agriculture experience.
  • Experience working within a CRM preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong understanding of social media.
  • Progress toward the completion of a professional designation preferred.
