This role needs to be based in the Los Angeles, CA metro area, but it can be worked from a local home office or from an office with our local Bottler in L.A.
Director of Entertainment Marketing
This role will already have relationships with key contacts in the movie, music, agents, talent, gaming industry and be able to build partnerships with those leads to ensure that Coca-Cola is getting the first calls for key opportunities for our brands to engage
Focus of the role is to ensure that our Coca-Cola portfolio of brands are a part of epic cultural moments encompassing music, gaming, movies and events, as well as, amplifying key partnerships like Yeti, Mondelez, Hershey and Brown Forman
Scope of the role is to support a team of professionals in the entertainment space enabling marketing asset partnerships to enhance our brand equity at retail, in venue and at big events
This role will have a meaningful impact on our business as it will be responsible for inspiring our system leveraging our assets and partnerships, ensuring our brands are a part of epic cultural moments and enabling all partnerships to be a part of our plans at retail and key events
Asset universe inclusive of Blizzard/Overwatch League, talent, our influencer lineup, music/movie talent
Partnership universe includes Yeti, P&G, Hershey’s, Mondelez, Kellogg’s, Brown-Forman & Bacardi
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Agency Management (music, movies, talent)
Intellectual Property Deployment at retail (Big Events)
Compelling In-Venue/Event Marketing
System Inspiration via Summits, BPSC, CCLT, Bottler Meetings
Experiential Activation at Big Events
Collaborate with brand to integrate assets into the sales and marketing calendar/plan supporting key brand platforms
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Level: MBA or other graduate degree
Related Work Experience:
10 or more years of experience in the entertainment business (i.e. movies, music, cultural moments, talent management)
People Leadership – specifically experience in leading leaders and cross functional teams
Significant Brand, Consumer, Shopper Marketing Experience
Entertainment Marketing Experience for retail and in venue
Partnership Management experience
Food expertise (Chefs, Food Network)
