The Assistant Manager, Influencer Marketing, is responsible for assisting a Director and Senior Manager in the development, management, and execution of all US influencer, press and consumer engagement strategies for the Gucci (fragrance and makeup), Burberry (fragrance and makeup) and Chloé brands to drive awareness, consideration and demand.
This role will be responsible for US influencer program execution, US press outreach, budget management and will oversee a Coordinator in the creation of monthly and quarterly recap reports and influencer/media list maintenance. The role acts as an internal liaison with Global Influencer Marketing, US and Global Marketing, Digital, Media, E-Comm, DTC and external agencies to ensure 360, comprehensive programming that harnesses the power of traditional and digital media to facilitate and inspire connections and engagement between our brands and their target audiences.
The Assistant Manager, Influencer Marketing should be adept at juggling multiple brand priorities, be highly organized and proactive in their approach, with a positive, team-oriented attitude. The position calls for an enthusiastic social media consumer who is tapped into the beauty industry, has strong writing skills, and a genuine passion for beauty and the influencer marketing/public relations field. Experience working with luxury color cosmetics brand(s) a strong plus.
PR & INFLUENCER INITIATIVE MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION
Assist in the creation, management and execution of US press and influencer campaign guidelines, local event proposals and US focused press releases to secure extensive coverage across a variety of mediums in the US market
Assist in the development of local communication strategies including:
Influencer and PR event proposals
Influencer partnership and seeding proposals and guidelines
Local mailer proposals
US focused editorial press tools/collateral
Calendars/local activation timelines
Support local event preparation and execution
Manage external agencies on the execution of influencer initiatives, developing content briefings and contract negotiations to ensure strategic and executional excellence
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key editors, influencers, fashion houses, agents, and external agencies/vendors
Originate and execute trend pitches, seasonal pitches, mailings, and other outreach
Serve as Coty representative at brand events
Manage and oversee influencer reporting and tracking platforms (Tribe Dynamics, Tagger, DMR)
Manage and execute organic influencer seedings and creative mailing efforts
Liaise with the Global Influencer Marketing, US and Global Marketing, Media, Digital, E-Comm and DTC teams to ensure that communications are synergistic with marketing campaigns and other brand initiatives and leverage advertising buys
Research, vet and contract influencer partners for campaigns and initiatives
Oversee purchase order process for timely payments of agencies, influencer partners and contracted vendors
PR & INFLUENCER RESULTS REPORTING, ANALYSIS & RECOMMENDATIONS
Oversee Coordinator on tracking and reporting PR and influencer campaign results monthly and annually, utilizing DMR and Tribe Dynamics (and supplement with Google searches when needed), identifying key insights to optimize brand strategy
Oversee recaps and analysis of press events, influencer campaigns and seeding initiatives
BUSINESS PROCESSES & FORECASTING
Manage forecasts and product orders, press materials and other assets in a timely manner via Prometheus and SAP
Manage detailed brand budgets and interface with finance team on a regular basis to ensure accuracy
4-year Undergraduate Degree in Communications or Related Field
3+ years of Public Relations, Influencer Marketing and/or related experience
Existing media and influencer relationships; influencer campaign management mandatory
Agency, beauty and makeup specific experience a strong plus
Interest in the Beauty, Public Relations and Influencer Marketing industries
Based in or near NYC
