We`re looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate storyteller to craft and share the Sportiqe story as our Director of Marketing. Leading the marketing department, you are excited to own, elevate and inspire our brand strategy & awareness, social & digital marketing, eCommerce, and internal creative teams. In this role, you will create, lead and execute on a holistic marketing strategy that will engage and grow our audience and ultimately drive leads and conversions for both the D2C & B2B sides of our business taking the Sportiqe brand to the moon! You are a true Marketing Generalist AND Strategist with strong leanings towards brand building and influencer marketing. A builder at heart, you will help us explore new horizons in our next phase of growth. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will get to collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales, Creative, Operations, Production, and People teams to create a strong culture connected with our brand that drives awareness for new and existing Sportiqe products.

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of professional work experience in brand marketing, creative services, ECommerce, marketing communications or related role, or equivalent level of experience.
• Excellent storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills with that rare ability to evoke passion and emotion from the stories and messaging you share. Copywriting is a plus.
• A high degree of ownership driving impact, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and keep multiple projects moving forward at once.
• Experience managing both teammates and contractors with proven success balancing multiple moving projects and timelines.
• Proven success building out effective full-funnel marketing strategies.
• Strong command of digital marketing including (but not limited to):
• Facebook & Instagram advertising and marketing
• Google Adwords & SEO
• Social & Influencer marketing
• eCommerce and Email marketing
• Experience with using systems, programs, and tools for eCommerce, email marketing, social media management, SEO, and organic and paid advertising.
• Travel as needed for events, brand and market research, and/or customer visits.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Craft and tell the Sportiqe story building our followers tenfold.
• Create the content strategy to grow our D2C email subscriber list by 3x.
• Build an inspiring brand strategy driving awareness and doubling traffic to our website.
• Run an effective and efficient Marketing Ops program including managing the marketing calendar, social media grid, contractors, and all projects related to the overall marketing strategy.
• Facilitate and oversee the content creation of marketing assets for the company
• Lead and inspire the marketing team on a daily basis elevating the department delivering to marketing goals and established KPI’s.
• Manage department budget and optimization.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge and offerings.
• Own, analyze and report on the Marketing dashboard and KPIs including sales numbers, social media success, email marketing, website traffic, and more.
• Manage brand voice and consistency across all digital marketing channels.
