The Director role will have primary responsibility for Altium’s marketing capability. Will oversee and manage the companywide Marketing strategy and execution to reinforce Altium’s unique position as a solutions provider to current and potential customers. The ideal candidate is highly engaged and motivated to support Altium’s growth strategy, effectively balancing strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing communications
  • Plan and execute a marketing communications strategy for the organization
  • Manage external communications to customers and public relations stakeholders
  • Support HR as needed for internal communications
    
• Product marketing
  • Create product marketing plan and materials to manage new offerings from innovation into sales and the market
  • Help synthesize market trends and conduct market research, as needed to support customer priorities, or internal initiatives
  • Manage development of all sales collateral
    
• Digital marketing
  • Oversee and manage internal and external resources to plan and execute our efforts in SEO, social media, website improvements and digital campaigns
  • Continue to improve our digital catalog offerings
  • Assess and improve lead generation and tracking through our sales systems and processes
    
• Other
  • Set and administer an annual marketing plan to ensure appropriate and effective resource allocation, manage and measure marketing communications and campaign costs.
  • Continually monitor changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary.

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
• MBA preferred
• 7+ years’ experience in B-to-B marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, or related
• Proficient using Microsoft Suite and various marketing software (Dynamics, Excel, CRM)
• Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills
• Strategic and innovative leader with demonstrated business acumen.
• Strong project management skills in a matrixed, collaborative, and results driven environment.
• Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks.
• Skilled communicator, balancing both listening and influencing to advance the agenda, drive change and improve business outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills, highly adept at utilizing and leveraging data to extract meaningful and actionable insights.
