Develop and execute strategic marketing programs for Dior’s fragrance brands in accordance with Management’s objectives. Meet growth objectives and contribute to overall corporate profit through new product launches, as well as the ongoing support of basic business, within a given outlined budget.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the marketing strategy and all related programs in the U.S. for both existing and new products in collaboration with key cross functional stakeholders.
  • Lead, plan and execute launch programs from a 360 view: forecast launch quantities; plan support tools; collaborate with Merchandising, PR, E-Commerce, Marketing, Education, Copywriting, Purchasing, Planning/Operations, Finance, Creative, Sales, and Sales Administration to brainstorm ideas to execute programs.
  • Interface with marketing counterparts at HQ to ensure alignment of global brand strategy while providing US market insights and recommendations pertaining to product development, promotional marketing, pricing and advertising
  • Customize programming based on specific distribution strategies across Specialty, Department and Sephora doors
  • Build and revise annual budget for fragrance business (testers, sampling, and promotional spending) and reconcile actual to budget spending quarterly to ensure alignment.
  • Partner with E-commerce teams to ensure strategy alignment and build recommendations for strong assets, optimized copy and calendar of e-retail planning to support key launches.
  • Analyze monthly competitive launches and sales development and keep abreast of competitive products/development through weekly and monthly NPD analyses.
  • Analyze weekly sales and launch performance.
  • Track retail sales, shipments, and overall product performance monthly to anticipate and react to changing environment.
  • Develop instore/virtual events in conjunction with Education to promote basic business and link-selling.
  • Establish field relations at appropriate levels for information exchange; take regular field trips to gain insights into marketplace.
  • Create and present retailer presentations.
  • Build competitive and strategic decks for business reviews.
