Position Overview

The Marketing Analyst is a leader in data-driven strategy. This position is responsible for evaluating marketing strategies to assess current performance and make recommendations to increase future campaign effectiveness. The Marketing Analyst works closely with other team members to develop strategic plans that align with overall marketing priorities for the University of Kansas and achieve our partner offices’ objectives. The Marketing Analyst brings knowledge of industry trends and best-practices to ensure efficient implementation of all tactics, including email, display/paid media, websites, direct mail, and social media. Additionally, this position t will both define and monitor progress toward KPIs, constantly optimizing strategies and tactics to improve ROI.

The successful marketing analyst will learn to possess an in-depth knowledge of our main CRM (Slate) in order to understand prospective student behavior and provide strategic insights. They will also develop in-depth end-of-campaign recaps and pull ad hoc reports to make recommendations as needed.
