Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers, employees, vendors, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.
  • Assist with event planning for trade shows and conventions - Provide logistical support for events such as registration of participants for trade shows and professional organization meeting (including the scheduling of travel).
  • Administer customer database information to support various marketing and corporate communication activities.
  • Support marketing activities including the deployment of marketing materials, preparation of sales demonstration models, updating marketing information, etc.
  • Manage multiple calendars and project timelines to ensure the integrity of tasks and schedules for the sales and marketing teams.
  • Attend meetings, take detailed notes, communicate notes and action items to stakeholders, and follow up on action items for the sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintain marketing inventory.
  • Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable graphic design software platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, techniques, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and developing content for marketing campaigns.
  • Must be professional, articulate, patient and service oriented.
  • Must be outgoing, organized, efficient, resourceful and creative and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, project coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables on a daily basis.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Ability to rapidly establish creditability and relationships with a broad range of individuals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field preferred
  • At least one year of proven experience in marketing or related industry preferred.


  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Physical Demands

Duties are performed in an office environment.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
