The Center for Specialty Therapy of YAI - National Institute for People with Disabilities is proud to offer an exciting and new internship opportunity for graduate students in Masters` Degree programs of psychology.

Responsibilities:

The intern will be matched with a senior-level clinician to observe and participate in psychological assessment with people diagnosed with Intellectual and other Developmental Disabilities and/or other potential psychological diagnoses.
The assessments consist of diagnostic interviewing, cognitive testing, adaptive functioning assessment, and gathering other relevant information about behavioral/emotional functioning as needed.

Training & Supervision:

Formal, intensive training is provided in all aspects of the psychological assessment and in the interpretation of data and report writing.
Ongoing supervision is also provided by licensed psychologists.

Schedule:

Part-Time position; hours negotiable 8 - 24

New York, NY 10017

The internship may be counted towards academic credit
