Hours:

Monday - Friday, 40 hours

General Summary:

The Marketing Analyst will hold an instrumental role in the Marketing department, coordinating quantitative and qualitative research, working on projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, interpreting results and developing actionable insights for the Marketing team. Our Voice of the Client program will be the Analyst’s specialty, along with pulling data from marketing insights platforms. Responsible for providing analysis in a clear and concise manner allowing the Marketing department, as well as business partners, to quickly understand the ‘the numbers’ in order to make data-driven decisions and recommendations, take strategic actions toward a goal, and analyze results.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate data from multiple sources into simplified stories and actionable insights to drive business decisions and anticipate/respond to cross-functional business needs.
  • Create a data-driven environment for Marketing that focuses on leveraging data to achieve greater results.
  • Become an in-house client experience and insights expert for the Bank’s Voice of the Client and Associate Experience program.
  • Use data and client feedback to identify opportunities for improvement throughout the company and create a cycle of continuous improvement for our products, services, and experiences.
  • Synthesize marketing data across multiple channels, including website, social media, marketing automation and e-mail marketing with a focus on evaluating performance of campaigns and determining adjustments to make for better results
  • Interpret data, formulate reports, identify trends, and make recommendations to Marketing on areas for improvement, campaign effectiveness, and untapped business opportunities.
  • Advising the Marketing team and business lines on trends and how to use the data for seeking and capitalizing on opportunities throughout our footprint
  • Create and maintain reporting dashboards and provide regular insights to internal stakeholders using various Marketing technology

Associated Duties:

  • Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
  • Proofreads a variety of materials.
  • Assists with additional writing assignments, as needed.
  • Assists with marketing efforts in support of business development and strategic initiatives.
  • Completes all assigned/required Bank training within established timelines.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) Required:

The following KSAs are usually acquired through work experience and/or specialized course(s):

  • A good understanding of Customer Experience research methodologies including NPS and OSAT.
  • Data literate with a strong understanding of how to convey the story that sits behind the data
  • Experience designing and analyzing a range of qualitative and quantitative research, including surveys, data analysis, report design/creation
  • Resourceful, action- and detail-oriented, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing or related field
  • Proven analytical, research, and project management capabilities
  • Ability to work well with others and provide leadership and project management
  • Acumen with search engines, web analytics, and business research tools
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, or similar), databases, and MS Office
  • Working knowledge of CRM programs and data capabilities
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills along with the ability to work within changing time and resource constraints
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive positive change for clients
  • Curious and collaborative nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in associations or financial services a plus

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on Advertising, Public Relations, or Marketing Communications. Experience in Marketing field required. Relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.

  • Some overtime may be required.
  • In the rare instance of a major or extensive natural disaster, epidemic or pandemic occurrence, or other disruption within our footprint, it may be necessary for associates to relocate or telecommute before, during or after, to ensure business continuity.
