We are currently looking for a Director, Digital Marketing, in the Exton, PA office.
Position Purpose
In this role, our new Director of Digital Marketing will be responsible for helping to build a vision and roadmap for digital marketing, and implementing a demand-generation approach to marketing focused on lead generation, demand capture and pipeline acceleration. The Digital Marketing Director will oversee our owned digital properties and develop proactive digital marketing campaigns that span SEM, SEO, PPC, programmatic digital, email marketing, social media (organic and paid), and other key strategies.
This role will report directly to iPipeline’s Vice President of Marketing.
Essential Functions
Strategic

  • Develop, own and execute iPipeline’s digital marketing strategy
  • Set goals and targets for all digital marketing channels (paid/earned/owned)
  • Assess and build out iPipeline’s marketing technology stack
  • Ensure digital creative/media/vendors (digital marketing agencies, SEO vendors, analytics consultants, etc) are best in class, deliver results, and embrace innovation and beta tests to become a key partner relationship

Marketing

  • Help lead the digital transformation of iPipeline marketing to build and maintain a world-class digital presence and continually prove ROI
  • Create life-stage (lead generation, retention, etc.) programs and trigger/event-based marketing to engage prospects and clients with desired content based on known behaviors and assumptions
  • Use marketing automation and lead management/nurturing journeys to convert and manage current and potential clients
  • Improve and enhance the user experience, content consumption, visibility and usage of iPipeline.com and other digital properties among target audiences
  • Utilize the most appropriate advertising and marketing technologies, strategies and tactics (SEO/SEM, paid media/lead generation campaigns, social media channels, content syndication partners, etc.), partner programs and insight-led content to improve all relevant digital KPIs
  • Provide guidance and assistance to develop a more digital approach to events with a particular focus on driving qualified leads.
  • Work closely with other marketing team members to embed insights from analytics and provide feedback to inform content creation, ensuring we produce and deliver the most relevant and interesting content for our target audiences. Ensure this content fits as part of a wider narrative reflected in all activity, from events to media relations.

Tracking and Analytics

  • Work with the appropriate teams (internal or external) to create marketing dashboards to facilitate tracking of overall digital marketing activities.
  • Monitor usage, research and provide competitive benchmarking of digital properties. Based on business insights, work with internal team and external agencies to fine-tune and improve the user experience of our website, social platforms, campaign journeys, content feeds and CRM programs.
  • Track and manage digital marketing budget, expenses and invoices in partnership with Finance

Qualifications*

  • 12 or more years of digital marketing experience at an innovative company or agency; insurance or financial services industry experience helpful, but not required
  • Performance marketing mindset: High comfort level with using digital marketing analytics to gauge efficacy and drive test-and-learn agenda
  • Experience with marketing technology, including marketing automation platforms
  • Experience and comfort level with website platforms at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Ability to manage numerous, concurrent tactical responsibilities, while not losing site of the bigger picture; strong attention to detail and quality
  • Able to shift gears and react quickly to timely requests
  • Self-motivated, proactive, responsive ability to think strategically, but also be willing to dig into the details and tactics
  • Experience and comfort collaborating with cross-functional internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Bachelor`s degree required; concentration in communications, marketing, or a related field preferred
