The CNO Marketing Team is hiring a SR. MARKETING ANALYST to collaborate with the consumer brand, and social and content strategy teams to build localized strategies on local prospecting, advertising and social media marketing programs and educate frontline sales teams on these efforts. Under the moderate direction of the Manager, the Senior Consumer Brand Activation Analyst provides input into strategies and investments in these programs; and provide ongoing training and communication to ensure seamless execution and success.

Although this role primary supports local prospecting, advertising and social programs, this individual will also support communication tactics and paid and organic lead program initiatives in support of the execution of broader marketing activation strategy. As such, the individual will work closely with the Field Activation Manager to develop and cultivate close working relationships with internal teams including Consumer Brand Management, Social Media & Strategy Content, Marketing Operations, Acquisition Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales Technology, Communications, and Sales & Distribution, and serve as an expert on local prospecting and social media channels, programs and strategies.

As a SR. MARKETING ANALYST, your responsibilities will include:
  • Align local prospecting, advertising and social media marketing programs with sales office profile/proficiency to achieve organic lead marketing contribution targets to help increase organic lead conversions and sales revenue.
  • Analyze marketing channel performance metrics at the local level to drive future decisions and optimize local prospecting and activation strategy.
  • Identify and share best practices with internal teams and field partners for local prospecting, advertising and social media marketing programs and lead conversions.
  • Deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with sales teams to ensure ongoing clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for local prospecting, advertising and social media marketing channels.
  • Conduct launch support including campaign and system development and programming, communication development and onsite/virtual sales training.
  • Capture and communicate field sales input with internal partners and leaders on local prospecting, advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Utilize campaign results in MS Excel and Tableau to monitor marketing trends to ensure optimal sales alignment and prioritization for our field sales teams.
  • Collaborate with internal departments in the on-going development of new marketing programs solutions, and in the improvement of existing programs and processes.
  • Assists in the development of communication plans and other training tools (e.g. playbooks, case studies, webinars, etc.) for marketing programs including identifying the appropriate learning process, timing, execution, and delivery.
  • Accurately report and provide status updates on program activity to Manager and internal departments via regular reporting and implemented technology tools.
  • Identify sales offices that may benefit from additional learnings on lead marketing support programs through a series of educational trainings to improve on lead conversions. Work with local sales leadership to develop manager and agent training and execute on the plan.
  • Partner with marketing team to provide summary progress on department level goals (e.g. field participation, organic leads and conversion)
  • Respond to a variety of field market requests and projects, including ADvance, advertising and seminar request.
The SR. MARKETING ANALYST position is well-suited for you if you:
  • Strong experience in local prospecting, advertising, and social media strategies for national sales teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of social media, advertising and prospecting systems and the ability to quickly assess, engage and recommend improvements.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, particularly B2C marketing programs and their contribution to sales engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills including data and information analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Ability to build stable and collaborative working relationships internally.
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
  • Strong conceptual, writing, oral and presentation skills.
  • Motivated “self-starter” that can maintain high levels of productivity and energy.
  • Professionalism to interact easily with all levels of the organization.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau and other business-related software.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent.
  • Requires a minimum of five years of experience specifically in strategic communications, marketing or related field.

CNO Financial Group is pursuing a hybrid working model. Our associates will have access to come into their affiliated Office (Carmel, Chicago or Philadelphia) up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. To ensure accessibility to our corporate campuses, we ask that candidates reside within a 90 minute drive of the position location.
