The Social Media & Content Specialist will demonstrate their deep understanding of social platforms and adept communications skills to elevate Impinj’s social media presence and content creation. This role will define and expand the content of our social channels and support the writing and management of content projects. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a meaningful role in building a content library that includes thought leadership articles, videos, and blogs, while strengthening social engagement.
What you`ll do:

  • Create and run content projects for marketing programs such as customer stories, partner solutions, video scripts, and email newsletters
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from messaging documents into persuasive copy concepts
  • Drive the brand experience and content on all Impinj social channels. Responsible for posting all social content
  • Plan and implement social media engagement strategies on Impinj’s existing social channels: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Monitor social media KPIs and metrics that define success, analyze performance against them, and report the results using available software tools
  • Find opportunities for audience, traffic, and engagement growth across existing and new social platforms such as Medium, YouTube, Reddit, WeChat, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn articles
  • Supervise and advise on B2B social media trends and standard methodologies
  • Lead and apply a monthly social editorial calendar to implement and report status, as well as identify and carry out paid efforts that amplify key initiatives
  • Think creatively about ways to increase video content development and engagement
  • Provide concise messaging on technical content
  • Coordinate integrated marketing campaign strategy and execution

What you`ll bring:

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a proven ability to transform ideas into marketing programs and content
  • 3+ years of experience running social media channels and paid social campaigns in a B2B technology field. Experience with video and motion work a plus
  • Proficiency with social analytics tools including Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, Facebook Analytics, and other third-party tools (e.g.,, Sprout Social)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic marketing environment, lead numerous projects and prioritize goals while maintaining deadlines, completing deliverables, and keeping team members advised of status as it changes
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, including the ability to write in different styles
  • Proactive, positive outlook with a proven ability to partner with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organization, take initiative, be prepared, and be self-aware and self-critical
  • Willingness and capacity to learn about RAIN technology, the Impinj platform, our business model, and our go-to-market approach.
