This position leads in the development, implementation and execution of college level digital marketing and communications strategies that raise awareness and visibility for the Belk College of Business and its programs. This position creates or leads in the creation of content for various digital channels, including the website, social media, digital advertising and e-communications and marketing. This position, reporting to the Executive Director of External Relations, supervises the Manager of Digital Marketing and develops and manages the marketing budgets for the College. The Assistant Director of Marketing makes strategic decisions based on metrics (keyword rankings, click through rates, website visitors) and partners with college and University leadership, staff inside and outside the college, and outside vendors to meet goals. The ideal candidate will provide guidance and training for the College`s digital marketing and communications efforts and have a solid knowledge of digital marketing tools, familiarity with web design and marketing and lead generation (Salesforce) and experience with SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
