CORE COMPETENCIES:

Harris Williams is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the design, copy, and production of communication materials across a variety of marketing programs. Over time, this role has the potential for growth and promotion depending on business and team needs.
Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design and publish digital assets in support of banker marketing efforts
  • Build and publish new website pages utilizing the firm’s content management system
  • Prepare new content for distribution across multiple marketing channels, including email and social media
  • Aid in recruiting, event and sponsorship programs by developing digital and on-site communication materials
  • Route new marketing assets through leadership and compliance for final approvals
  • Collaborate with full Marketing team to ensure brand is consistently demonstrated across all marketing efforts

Job Specific Competencies, Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing and/or graphic design role (or equivalent studies)
  • Experience working within Adobe Creative Suite, a content management system, and/or other marketing technology platforms preferred
  • Organized, detail oriented, and diligent with the ability to meet deadlines and execute efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to work well in a team setting
  • Curious mindset that proactively identifies areas opportunity and directs resources towards continuous improvement

Marketing Strategy and Positioning – Knowledge of and ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.
Marketing Systems – Knowledge of and ability to utilize an organization`s marketing information systems.
Products and Services – Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Project Management – Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
