OpenSky, a division of Capital Bank, NA, is an issuer of secured credit cards with over 700,000 customers. Position Purpose

Responsible for supporting the acquisition and engagement of customers primarily for the OpenSky Secured Credit Card division but also provides some support to the Capital Bank Commercial and Capital Bank Home Loans divisions. The role will be responsible for email, direct mail, social media marketing campaigns for OpenSky Secured Credit Card. This role also pulls data from internal systems, perform analytics on this data and has responsibility creating reports and presentations to communicate findings.


Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the email communication channel ensuring accuracy in execution of all OpenSky email campaigns
  • Design email templates with the assistance of a copyrighter and/or agency.
  • Design direct mail pieces with assistance of a graphic designer and copyrighter, coordinate list and track and analyze performance.
  • Set up social media posting ensuring that posts are scheduled and published in a timely manner
  • Monitor online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement; respond to comments on each of our accounts
  • Set up and manage social media paid advertising including creating ads and uploading audiences.
  • Access internal systems to pull data, analyze this data using Microsoft Excel, and generate reports detailing campaign performance
  • Communicates the results to the marketing team, business teams and executive team with 50% of reports being email reports and 50% being Microsoft Excel or Powerpoint reports.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to source partnerships, follow up on identified opportunities
  • Assemble affiliate performance data to compile monthly commission reports, take them through an internal approval process and distribute to affiliates in a timely manner
  • Create marketing copy for the digital and print channels which effectively communicates the necessary elements and benefits of key products and services offered by OpenSky.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and at various stages, driving them through to completion.
  • Works with and coordinates with outside agencies, vendors and software providers


Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0-3 years of experience working in a marketing role.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment (3 days in office).
  • Analytic thinker comfortable working in a role that requires some math skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a multi-task environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Technical Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other email management system (preferred)
  • Experience with social media advertising and/or organic social media (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (required)
