POSITION RANGE OF PAY: $75,000-$83,000

Job Description

The Retail Brand Manager will provide a strong passion for design, hospitality, and data driven decisions. They will own the development and execution of a cohesive marketing and communication plan for retail brand: Sol Flower. With strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, they will be working day-to-day with Operations to help exceed margin targets, create one-of-a-kind in-store experiences, and drive products off the shelves as fast as it gets on. Build market share, increase consumer retention, and develop trendsetting content. They will need to be a strategic thinker with the ability to embrace change and foster new opportunities to grow the business. This individual understands the customer, the category, the market and is up to date on product trend knowledge. The ability to prioritize work effectively while managing simultaneous projects as well as the efforts of the Associate Retail Brand Manager will be key in this role.


Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with the Retail team to help develop the merchandising direction and plan-o-grams across all locations
  • Responsible for the physical execution of brand refreshes and marketing communications within our retail stores for new product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Source and negotiate with appropriate vendors and agencies for in store merchandising executions as well as co-op marketing opportunities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive annual marketing and communication plans and promotions to drive sales and brand affinity
  • Develop relevant seasonal campaigns & promotions with sales supported by comprehensive merchandising playbooks and tool kits for product launches and brand campaign
  • Develop strategy and content to help establish brands as leaders in the digital space such as on Instagram, Website, etc. as well as identify and oversee social media agency and assist with influencer partnerships.
  • Works with Activation team to translate the retail promotional calendar into the retail experience to help drive revenue and traffic
  • Assist with local, national, and crisis management public relations efforts and planning
  • Works with Activation and Retail teams to translate the Retail promo calendar into the retail experience as well as work alongside Activations team to help organize and enable execution of impactful, in-person industry events
  • Continually monitor and optimize media performances through outlets such as social media, paid advertising, email + text campaigns and database
  • Develop a bi-weekly executive summary that demonstrates learnings across or within channels and how that will improve future performance
  • Lead communications management for advertising and collateral requests with designers and production warehouses to support sales, marketing campaigns and brand activations.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Director of Marketing to ensure flowchart, budget, and billings are in alignment with marketing communications and plans
