POSITION SUMMARY

A Director of Marketing, or Marketing Director, oversees a company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive and build brand awareness. Their responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.

The Director of Marketing reports to the Director of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred Bachelor`s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience in working with people.
  • Experience in working with hiring and social media platforms.
  • Creative ability, working cooperatively with other professionals, ability to organize and carry out responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately both verbally and in writing in a variety of circumstances.
  • Commitment to the mission and goals of KCBM.
  • Ability to exercise sound independent judgment where procedures cannot be standardized.
  • Ability to attend required meetings, trainings, and/or conferences. These meetings, trainings, and/or conferences may be out of town, and may require overnight stays.
  • Ability to have flexibility with the weekly work schedule to meet the community`s occupancy goals.
  • Dedicated to the success of the community.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Attend and participate in all management and daily stand-up meetings
  • Follow policy and procedure for marketing department and the community.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Carry out marketing functions within an established budget.
  • Purchase all marketing supplies to include collaterals, event supplies, respite apartment supplies, promotional items, etc.
  • Submits all written communications to Director of Operations for review.
  • Develop and review monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans and goals.
  • Communicates all scheduled appointments and "out-of-building" contact information with the reception desk.
  • Complete a bi-annual competitive analysis.
  • Work with Director of Operations to plan monthly campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain referral database for mailings.
  • Document all contact with each referral source.
  • Attend all mandatory trainings as requested.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Treat partners and residents with respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality with all resident information.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Communicates any service issues to the Director of Operations.
  • Meet with resident and/or family on move-in date to assure a smooth transition.
  • Present welcome gift to new residents.
  • Delivers Creative Follow-Ups when necessary.
  • Conducts tours and all follow-up activity with prospects.

OUTREACH

  • Provide Executive Director with list of weekly contacts.
  • Develop and maintain Outreach Directorships with competitors.
  • Visits residents in rehabilitation and/or hospital as requested by Executive Director.
  • Generate leads through contacts in local community.
  • Develop and maintain Outreach Directorships with potential referral sources.
  • Assures appropriate placement of collateral material throughout market area
