Mission of Role/Position Summary
Be part of a team of knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful allies for our clients. This position will support business development, marketing, and communications/outreach efforts by providing essential marketing strategy and support, comprehensive proposal management, and creative strategies.
Position Responsibilities/Role Competencies:

  • Incorporate key messages and win themes into submittals and client interviews.
  • Lead SME’s and other cross-divisional staff in the full lifecycle of proposal efforts.
  • Coordinate the preparation of resumes of key personnel and case study summaries for proposals.
  • Provide marketing information and data call requests to teaming partners and clients.
  • Manage relationships with teaming partners and clients.
  • Work with Communications to identify and devise campaigns via multiple vehicles that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Stay abreast of subject matter and industry news and adapt communication as needed.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials and other marketing tangibles.
  • Spearhead special event planning and design of conference materials, promotional items, booth setup, etc.
  • Oversee maintenance/updates and creation of new website content.
  • Present creation (internal, client, speaker opportunities, others).
  • Write industry and staff award nominations.
  • Manage marketing production and distribution efforts, as needed.
  • Perform weekly searches for new and upcoming opportunities.
  • Work in tandem with Business Development capture planning efforts
  • Strategize workflows and other initiatives pertaining to business development and marketing
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and partners.
  • Manage marketing & proposal files in SharePoint.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • CRM experience.
  • Microsoft Planner, Hootsuite, Constant Contact, Canva experience.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Reliable and well-organized critical thinker who is passionate about their contribution to the team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Creativity and boundless enthusiasm are highly desirable qualities for this role.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience managing marketing databases, email, social media and/or other communications campaigns.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and meet short timelines/deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
  • Education requirement can be substituted on a year for year basis with direct marketing experience on top of the required years of experience.
  • 5+ years’ marketing and proposal experience.

  • Must be able to aid in lifting/set up for conference booth/sending and receiving deliveries.
  • Remote home office.
  • Requires ability to support an Emergency Management Environment including work on weekends and/or holidays to support an Emergency Management Environment.
  • All ACDC positions are remote work site positions with the home location agreed upon at time of hire.
  • If the remote work site locations change, ACDC HR must be made aware and leadership needs to approve any site changes for business registration and payroll tax purposes.
