La Mer Luxe, a women`s resortwear brand located in Mt. Pleasant, SC, is searching for a Marketing/ Creative Consultant.

We’re looking for a person who is self-motivated, creative, results-oriented, and must possess great written and verbal communication abilities. This individual will be organized, have a positive attitude, have great problem-solving qualities, and be a team player. This role is responsible for developing Marketing strategies and related communications to support the La Mer Luxe brand.

Essential Functions and Duties:

  • Learn the brand’s ethos, product, and creative direction
  • Strategize, plan, and post content on all social media channels
  • Engage with community via comments and direct messages
  • Research new social media marketing strategies & tactics
  • Create marketing materials including lookbooks, canvases, postcards, etc.
  • Design layouts for eblasts, social media posts
  • Design and manage website elements
  • Photography/Editing for website and social and eblasts
  • Plan marketing calendar and develop an optimal posting schedule based on analysis of peak web traffic and engagement patterns
  • Write and edit blog posts as needed


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic design, social media marketing and fashion
  • Must be able to create on brand marketing material
  • Mac OS, Office, Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Dropbox, Mailchimp
  • Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Wix web experience
  • Working knowledge of SEO, email marketing, blog content, grassroots marketing and public relations tactics preferred.
  • Moderate photography and video editing experience preferred.
  • Self motivated and ability to work independently and collaboratively with the La Mer Luxe team
  • Excellent communication, writing and proofreading skills required. Proficiency with creating copy.

Position Purpose:


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in graphic design, social media marketing
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills and ability to be a self-starter

  • Reviewing marketing calendars with internal teams and occasionally customers

Website Management

  • Guiding new website design, development, and launch by providing guidance on marketing best practices
  • Managing and performing website revisions in WordPress
  • Learn and maintain available social media tools and resources for content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and analytics.

What is required?

  • Experience with community management and cultivating online communities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of AP Style.
  • Experience with data and social media analytics platforms.
  • Adept at accepting and giving constructive feedback.
  • Skilled at effectively managing multiple projects, changing priorities, and concurrent deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required, as well as a working knowledge of InDesign, WordPress, Blackbaud Luminate Online, and HTML preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media reporting tools such as Meltwater.

  • Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences.
  • Ability to contribute individually, work with various specialized teams and collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible schedule with the willingness to work nonstandard business hours.



  • You will use Photoshop to cut and crop daily lifestyle images and create Instagram Stories
  • You will oversee posting on all of Stadium Goods social platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok
  • You will foster and grow the Stadium Goods audience by replying to comments, liking replies and replying to Direct Messages on a variety of social platforms
  • You will collaborate with the creative, photography, video and editorial teams on a daily basis to ensure we are always promoting our best possible product
  • You will keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends across platforms and collaborate with the social team on new ideas


  • You have experience using and a desire to spend time learning more about all social media platforms including latest platforms.
  • You have 1 or more years of experience in a social media or communications role (can include internships)
  • You have a working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, with experience using Photoshop
  • Important: must be committed and accountable
