Pacifica Hotel Company is looking for a Director of Marketing to join the team! Reporting to the SVP of Operations, the Director of Marketing is responsible for the design, development and execution of a clearly defined, results-oriented Pacifica marketing strategy. his person`s primary focus is to implement marketing strategies that position Pacifica to meet or exceed our revenue, profitability, and long-term growth objectives, while maintaining a consistent message and positioning that is in line with the company`s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Adhere to Pacifica’s Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests.
Utilize Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines.
Support business growth and enhance Pacifica brand equity, awareness, and competitive positioning.
Design, develop and oversee Pacifica`s high-level direct marketing efforts, including public relations, advertising, ecommerce, social media, and digital marketing strategies.
Develop public communications and media relations strategy to generate business and awareness of Pacifica.
Development of social media strategy for Pacifica brand and properties, including management of internal resources and external agencies.
Complete oversight & management of Pacifica property & brand websites, including design & aesthetics, content, navigation, photos/images, information architecture, functionality, and performance.
Oversee and direct internal and external creative services teams in all areas of marketing.
Analyze, evaluate, plan, and execute existing and potential marketing activities and strategies.
Develop and monitor all corporate marketing and communications strategies and initiatives, including the Pacificahotels.com website, the Pacifica brand strategy, and other programs targeted at various market segments.
Develop & manage media plans for all properties utilizing existing or new advertising agencies and media buyers.
Develop marketing plans and annual marketing expense budgets for all properties.
Enhance, update, and maintain all property content & images across all distribution channels.
Assist property teams to identify and secure new marketing and public relations opportunities.
Identify corporate and local public relations partners and agencies that assist in the development of long- and short-term PR strategies.
Ensure that property level marketing and communications efforts are fully consistent with Pacifica`s overall marketing and communications plan.
Actively participate in revenue strategy meetings as needed; lead brainstorming sessions that identify opportunity.
Create performance tracking and analysis of marketing & communications activities to assure identified goals are being met.
Provide ongoing training and development of marketing and communications professionals within the organization.
Foster a positive, collaborative & innovative Pacifica revenue culture.
